Owen has over 26 years experience and is qualified in the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, New York (non-practicing) and England and Wales (non-practicing).
The bulk of his career has been spent working on Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands legal matters. He has practiced law in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, London, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. Owen was recognized by the IFLR as an aviation expert in Cayman and has advised more than two thirds of the world’s top 20 banks (as listed in Bankers Almanac) on a variety of transactions.
Owen was awarded First Class Honors from the London School of Economics in 1989 and went on to study for his Masters at Trinity Hall, Cambridge in 1990 with a British Academy Scholarship where he was also awarded First Class Honors.
He has worked at partner level with a number of leading international firms and as a Consultant to Freshfields’ London Finance team.

Sally has over 20 years experience in the British Virgin Island and 15 years experience in Nevis as a qualified attorney and also practices Cayman Islands Law.
Sally has a very wide range of experience in non-contentious and corporate and commercial matters. She gained a vast knowledge while working in the Financial Services Industry at the beginning of her career. This foundation combined with her many years of experience working with large offshore law firms at partner level has provided her with a unique perspective and an ability to handle complex matters with a commercial and practical approach and she is well known for finding creative solutions to complicated legal situations.
Sally was awarded her LLB from the University of the West Indies and went on to attain a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from the University of London. She has worked at partner level with several firms including a leading international law firm based in the British Virgin Islands and has also held the position of Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer, Compliance Officer and Managing Director of a trust company.
